Kenneth Leroy Saunders Sr., age 90 of Piqua, formerly of Bradford, passed away Friday, July 23, 2010 at his home. Kenneth was born in Ohio City, OH on January 11, 1920 to the (late) John Melvin & Violet Goldie (Webb) Saunders; member of the 3C's; retired welder from Tube Products, Tipp City with 30 years of service; owned a restaurant and bar, The Corner in Bradford. Preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Otto "Red", Andy, Jess, & Ralph Saunders; and two sisters, Bertha & Florence Saunders. Kenneth is survived by his wife of 65 years, Gloria Helen (Newman) Saunders;

three sons and daughters-in-law, Terry & Vickie Saunders of Bradford, Kenneth Leroy Saunders Jr. of Piqua, Charles Lee & Doreen Saunders of Troy; daughter, Judith Lee Knoop of Piqua; 16 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 27 great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, May Johnson of Troy, Faye Newman of Piqua; and other relatives and friends. Funeral service 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at the Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home, Bradford with Chaplain Ed Ellis officiating. Interment Beechwood Cemetery, Lockington. The family will receive friends 1:00 P.M.
