Barbara N. Owen, age 79 of Covington, passed away Thursday, June 8, 2017 at Koester Pavilion, Troy.  Barbara was born in Laura, Miami County, on April 30, 1938 to the (late) Lawrence M. & Jessie J. (Howland) Victor; was a graduate of Newton High School, Class of 1956; had worked for Krogers; a member of the Covington Eagles Aerie #3998; previously attended the Covington Church of the Brethren; and was an avid bingo player, garage "saler", and crocheter.  Preceded in death by her parents; husband, James R. Owen in 2007; daughter, Tina Jones; sister, Betty Weaver; and three brothers, Edward Victor, Richard Victor, and Lawrence Victor.  Barbara is survived by her children, Jeffery & Dale Nicodemus of West Winfield, NY, Thomas & Cindy Nicodemus of Daytona Beach, FL, Tom & Sondra Owen of Sidney, Jerry & Deb Owen of Woodstock, CT, Rhonda & Dennis Frankenfield of Daytona Beach, FL; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; three sisters, Louise Reason of Germantown, OH, Mary & Bruce Green of Pleasant Hill, Jeanette & Joe Fisher of Covington; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Graveside service and interment 11:30 AM Monday at the Miami Memorial Park Cemetery, Covington with Pastor John Shelton officiating,  Condolences may be left for the family at www.stockerfraley.com.
