Donna I. (Shawler) Offenbacher Maxson age 83 of Troy, passed away Saturday, August 6, 2016 at Springmeade Health Center.  Donna was born in Miami County on January 9, 1933 to the (late) Harry I. & Muriel (Fry) Shawler; was a graduate of Covington High School, Class of 1951; retired from A.O. Smith, Tipp City with 27 ½ years of service; worked at PTI, Piqua for five years; and loved to crochet.  Preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Robin Offenbacher Maxson; four brothers, Harry “Junior” Shawler, Ora Shawler, Roger Shawler, and Carl Shawler; three sisters, Helen Earick, Phyllis Layman, and Lois Chambers; and her faithful companion of 14 years, her fur baby kid, Lucky.  Donna is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Ray & Rhonda Offenbacher of Seymour, TN; six grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Richard & Wanda Shawler of Piqua; special friend, Connie Davis of Troy; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.  Funeral service 10:30 A.M. Thursday at Bridges-Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home, Covington with Pastor John Shelton officiating.  Interment Miami Memorial Park Cemetery, Covington.  The family will receive friends 4-7 P.M.
