Ethel Benton age 85 of  Middletown, passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at Hillspring of Springboro; was born in Primrose, KY on  September 7, 1930 to the (late) Oscar & Ada Mae (Vires) Shackelford; was co-owner of Benton Plumbing.  Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles W. Benton; son, Benny Joe Benton; three sisters; and six brothers.  Ethel is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Charlotte & Michael Bowling of Middletown; three grandchildren, Tina Bowling, Charles “Chuck” & Amy Benton, Sara & Tom Rusk; five great-grandchildren, Elaina, Michael, Matthew Benton, Caleb & Ethan Rusk; three sisters, Thelma Rice of Middletown, Maudie Jean MacManus of Franklin, Mamie Banks of Middletown; a host of other relatives and friends.  Graveside service and interment 2:00 P.M.
