Garry L. Lavins, age 78, of Bradford died Sunday, December 4, 2016 at Versailles Health Care Center.  He was born July 24, 1938 in Piqua to the late Edward Lavins & Betty (Stump) Norris; a U.S. Air Force veteran; worked as a mail carrier in Bradford for over 30 years; & a member of F&AM, Bradford Lodge.

Preceded in death by his parents & sister, Connie. Garry is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Helen (Lear) Lavins; son, Michael (Rachel) Lavins of Sidney; daughter, Ashley (Noah) Spillman of Bradford; 6 grandchildren, Morgan Spillman, Austin, Molly, Ethan & Ayla Lavins & Brynn Thomas; brother, Ramon (Mary) Lavins of MI & other relatives & friends.

Memorial Service to be held at 3pm Sunday at Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home, Bradford with Pastor Dan Scalf officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1pm until time of service at the funeral home. Condolences may be left for the family at www.stockerfraley.com.
