Gerna Jo Cain, age 76, of Piqua, died Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy.  She was born August 12, 1940 in Miami County to the late Russell B. & Martha Elizabeth (Lavey) Cain; & was a graduate of Versailles High School.

Preceded in death by her parents; & siblings, Russell (Martha) Cain, Frankie (Betty) Cain, Neva (Bill) Taylor, Teba (Janet) Cain, Eileen Cain & Seba Cain.

Gerna is survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends, including her Heartland of Piqua family.

Funeral Service will be held Monday at 11 am at Bridges-Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home, Covington with Pastor Mike Yingst officiating.  Interment Gettysburg Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Monday at 10 am until time of service.  If desired, contributions may be made to Heartland of Piqua, with “Activities Fund” in memo.  Condolences may be left for the family at www.stockerfraley.com.
