H. Eunice Pemberton, age 84 of Dayton, formerly of West Milton, passed away Sunday, January 22, 2017 at the Spring Hills Singing Woods, Dayton.  Eunice was born in Clarke County on March 9, 1932 to the (late) Forrest & Alice Mae (Hoover) Maggert; worked for Dolly Toy; and a past member of the Eagles in Gaylord, Michigan.  She loved working puzzles and playing bingo. Preceded in death by her parents; First husband, Sgt. William R. Morris of Miami County Sheriff’s Department killed in the line of duty in 1972, Second husband, Fred C. Welsh in 1980, Third husband, Charles E. Pemberton in 1996; son, William M. Morris; daughter-in-law, Brenda Morris; brothers and sisters, Floyd Maggert, Violet Maggert, Bertha Garwood, Rozetta Tary, Glen Maggert, Everett Maggert, Verda Badgley, & Arthur Maggert.  Eunice is survived by her children,  Charles R. Morris of West Milton, Robert Lee (Sally) Morris of Troy, Helen A. Morris of Russell Point; daughter-in-law, Joyce Morris of Ludlow Falls;  10 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; brother, Emmit Maggert of Union; sister, Grace Sanders of Bradford; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Funeral service 2:00 P.M. Thursday at the Bridges-Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home, Covington.  Interment Miami Memorial Park Cemetery, Covington.  The family will receive friends 5-8 P.M.
