James "Jamie" Michael Bowman
January 17, 1972 ~ January 6, 2017 (age 44) 44 Years OldJames Michael “Jamie” Bowman, age 44 of Covington, passed away Friday, January 6, 2017 at his home. Jamie was born in Dayton on January 17, 1972 to Dallas Lee & Gail Ann (Peeples) Bowman of Covington; was a graduate of Bradford High School, Class of 1991; worked as a General Contractor for Rudy’s; a member of Fields of Grace Church, Covington; a talented glass glazer; an avid football fan of The Ohio State University; an avid movie watcher; enjoyed playing poker; and loved fishing. Preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Mabelle & Robert Wagner, Charles Bowman; and maternal grandparents, Flora Ann & John Nicodemus, Bill & Grace Peeples. Jamie is survived by his parents; his children, McKenzi Loraine Bowman of Covington, Dalton James Bowman & Jackson Lyle Bowman, both of Piqua; grandson, Maxton Arthur Bowman; the mother of his sons, Kelly Ann Bowman of Piqua; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends; and his chocolate lab, “Cindy Girl.” Funeral service 2:00 P.M. Thursday at the Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home, Bradford with Pastor Don Solin officiating. Interment in Greenville Creek Cemetery, Bradford. The family will receive friends 5-8 P.M.
