James Michael “Jamie” Bowman, age 44 of Covington, passed away Friday, January 6, 2017 at his home.  Jamie was born in Dayton on January 17, 1972 to Dallas Lee & Gail Ann (Peeples) Bowman of Covington; was a graduate of Bradford High School, Class of 1991; worked as a General Contractor for Rudy’s; a member of Fields of Grace Church, Covington; a talented glass glazer; an avid football fan of The Ohio State University; an avid movie watcher; enjoyed playing poker; and loved fishing.  Preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Mabelle & Robert Wagner, Charles Bowman; and maternal grandparents, Flora Ann & John Nicodemus, Bill & Grace Peeples.  Jamie is survived by his parents; his children, McKenzi Loraine Bowman of Covington, Dalton James Bowman & Jackson Lyle Bowman, both of Piqua; grandson, Maxton Arthur Bowman; the mother of his sons, Kelly Ann Bowman of Piqua; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends; and his chocolate lab, “Cindy Girl.”  Funeral service 2:00 P.M. Thursday at the Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home, Bradford with Pastor Don Solin officiating.  Interment in Greenville Creek Cemetery, Bradford.  The family will receive friends 5-8 P.M.
