Jaret David VanHoose died Tuesday, May 16, 2017 as the result of an automobile accident in Covington. He was born March 18, 1999 in Troy to Jeremy VanHoose & Gina VanHoose; was a Senior at Covington High School where he was on the Quiz Team; worked at Meijer; & loved books.

Preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, John David Jeffers.

Jaret is survived by his parents, Jeremy VanHoose of St. Paris & Gina VanHoose (Mike Green & Emily) of Covington; paternal grandparents, Donnie VanHoose of St. Paris & Cathy VanHoose of St. Paris; maternal grandmother, Margaret “Elaine” Jeffers of Bradford; aunts, uncles, cousins, other family & many friends.

Funeral Service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Covington Church of the Brethren with Pastor Dan Scalf officiating.  Interment Highland Cemetery.  Visitation will be held Tuesday 4-8 p.m. at Covington High School in the old gym, west entrance.
