Jean B. Rue, age 96, of Greenville, passed away Friday, April 7, 2017 at the Brethren Retirement Community, Greenville. She was born July 14, 1920 in Fargo, ND to the late William & Evelyn (Mangus) Denny.

Preceded in death by her parents; she was married to her husband for 46 years who preceded her in death in 1991, Robert G. Rue who was from Bradford.  Jean lived in Hayward, California until 1997 when she moved to Bradford; she then moved to Greenville in 2000.  Jean was an avid NASCAR Racing fan for over 70 years.  Jean is survived by her caretaker and nephew, Charles L. Rue; plus other nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.  Graveside service will be held Wednesday, April 19th at Greenville Creek Cemetery, Buckneck Road, Bradford.  Contributions may be made to Hospice of Miami County.  Condolences may be left for the family at www.stockerfraley.com.
