Joseph Benjamin Kenworthy, age 93 of Covington, passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at Hospice Unit at Upper Valley Medical Center.  Joe was born in Preble County on October 18, 1922 to the (late) Willard Sherman Sr. & Florence Josephine (Hall) Kenworthy; was a graduate of Covington High School, Class of 1941; was the retired owner of Ebberts Field Seeds Inc.; and was a lifelong member of the Covington Church of the Brethren.  Preceded in death by his parents; wife, Miriam Edna (Ebberts) Kenworthy in 2013; grandson, Bryan Paul Kenworthy; two brothers, Don Kenworthy and Willard Kenworthy Jr in 2016; and four sisters, Margaret Beetley, Katherine Van Kirk, Naomi Landis, Lucille Landis.  Joe is survived by his four sons and daughters-in-law, Dale & Jane Ann Kenworthy of Covington, Dr. William & Sharon Kenworthy of Greenbelt, Maryland, Paul & Darlene Kenworthy of Covington, Fred & Cindy Kenworthy of Pleasant Hill; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, David & Phyllis Kenworthy of Covington; other relatives and many friends. Funeral service 10:30 Saturday at the Covington Church of the Brethren with Pastors Michael Yingst & Dr. Robert Fulton officiating.  Interment Highland Cemetery, Covington.  The family will receive friends 5-8 P.M.
