Mary Ellen (Wise) Parker, age 89 of Covington, passed away Friday, August 19, 2016 at the Upper Valley Medical Center – Hospice Unit.  Mary was born in Covington on July 18, 1927 to the (late) Ferman E. & Thelma Anna (Via) Wise; retired from Copeland, Sidney; a member of the Friendship Grace Brethren Church, Covington; loved her gardening, canning, and flowers, she also loved to cook, and she loved her grandchildren.  Preceded in death by her parents; three siblings, Edna Graham, John Wise, and Delores Hillard and step-daughter, Teresa Woodmeyer.  Mary is survived by her husband of 34 years, Buddy L. Parker;  her six children, David Wimmer (Dee) of Bradford, Sharon Schad of Piqua, Dennis Cain (DeeDee) of Covington, Candy Adams of Greenville, Jeff Cain (Connie) of Troy, Vickie Calvert (Ron) of  Conroe, TX; two step-daughters, Sherri Parker of AZ and Vicki Razer of FL; 15 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; six step-great-grandchildren; siblings, Robert Wise, Wanetta Vulgamore, Wayne Wise, Eddie Wise, Dixie Kimmel, Fernie LeFevre, and Larry Wise; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Celebration of Life Service 1:00 P.M. Tuesday at the Bridges-Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home, Covington with Pastor Keith Wiggins officiating.  Interment Miami Memorial Park Cemetery, Covington.  The family will receive friends 11:00 A.M.
