Nichole E. Bordelon, 38 of Piqua, passed away on Friday, January 26, 2018 at 12:42 p.m. surrounded by her family and friends. Nichole (Nikki) was born on October 27, 1979 in Troy; she attended Covington schools where she graduated with honors with the Class of 1998; she then attended Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Nichole fought a long, hard, battle with cancer, not once but twice. She was a true warrior, one that we can all admire for her strength and bravery that she showed throughout her battle. Nichole had been employed for 15 years at Remedi Senior Care in Troy. Her true passion was her love for animals, especially her fur babies, Sadie, Lulu, Phoebe, Bella, Sophie, and Grace. She had a love for all animals and enjoyed her trips to the zoo and also to King’s Island. Nichole is survived by her mother and step-father, Carol (Guillozet) & Tomas Neal of Sidney; father, Michael Bordelon of Troy; brother, Jeremy Bordelon of Troy; grandmother, Eileen (Joan) Graves of Covington; step-brother, Tommy (Ashley) Neal of Piqua; step-sisters, Patty Neal of Piqua, Kathy (Chad) Barlow of Dayton; aunts, Terri Hughes and Sue Monnin of Versailles, Lisa Zumberger and Sharon Wesbecher of Sidney, Deb (William) Crownover of Bon Aqua, Tennessee, Charlotte (Denny) Haller of Crossville, Tennessee; uncles, John (Amy) Guillozet of Fort Loramie, Tom (Melanie) Guillozet of Piqua, Bob (Bonnie) Guillozet of Sidney, Jake (Connie) Guillozet, Larry (Linda) Guillozet of Russia, Steve Bordelon of Covington, Chris (Michelle) Graves of Greenville, Bob (Kathy) Graves of San Antonio, Texas. Nichole was preceded in death by her fur baby, Chloe; her grandparents, Jeanie and Gene Guillozet, and Fred Graves; uncles, Ken and Frank Guillozet; and aunt, Sharon Graves. A “Celebration of Life” Service for Nichole will be held at 5:00 p.m. Saturday at Bridges-Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home, Covington with Pastor Don Solin officiating. Gathering of Friends will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday until time of service.
