Ottis H. Rasor, age 88 of Bradford, passed away Saturday, March 12, 2016 at the Hospice Unit at Upper Valley Medical Center.  Ottis was born on January 10, 1928 in Bradford to the (late) Harvey E. & Vertie Alwilda (Oliver) Rasor; Bradford High School Graduate, Class of 1946; attended The Ohio State University for two years, a U.S. Air Force Veteran serving during the Korean Conflict; retired with 23 years of service at Ohio Kal Plastics, Greenville; for five years delivered home milk delivery for Miami County Dairy; member of the 1946 Bradford Basketball team that went to the State Final Four; member of the Bradford Senior Citizens; member of the Good Sam Camping Club; member of the Harris Creek Church of the Brethren; Fir Class of inductees into Bradford Athletic Hall of Fame; Southwestern Ohio Track & Field Official for 13 years; founder and leader for 10 years of the Bradford Purple Ribbon 4-H Club; President for four years and served for a total of 12 years on Bradford School Board; Creek Dale Dairy, Bradford - delivered home milk; five year member of the Darke County Plowing Matches, winning one year; member of the Barber Shop Quartet, Treaty City Barbershop Chorus for 12 years.  Preceded in death by his parents; stillborn infant son; sister, Ellen Longenecker, & two brothers, Omer Rasor and Leo Rasor.  Ottis is survived by his wife of 63 years, Susanne (Elson) Rasor; daughter and son-in-law, Jamie & Gary Knick of Bradford; four sons, Kent & Chris Rasor of West Chester, OH, Nevin Rasor of Palm Harbor, FL, Vaughn & Lisa Rasor of Mt. Vernon, KY, Marlin & Chris Rasor of Dalton, OH; 13 grandchildren, Sarah & Aaron Seidel, twins, Jennifer & Chris Courter, Jessica & Ben Guggenbiller, Bart Rasor, Noah & Hillary Rasor, Ben Rasor, Mathew & Lauren Rasor, Kristen Rasor, Josh Rasor, Grant & Monique Knick, Lara & Dusty Bruner, Caleb Knick, Wyatt Knick; great-grandchildren, Hayden Miller, Lexie Bruner, Remington Bruner, McKayla Simmons, Bailey Courter, Gregory Guggenbiller, Codi Rasor, Jacob, Easton, & Levi Rasor, Carson Hartley, other relatives and many friends.  Funeral service 11:00 AM Tuesday at the Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home, Bradford with Pastor Philip Dell officiating.  Interment Harris Creek Cemetery, Bradford., Military Honors will be provided by the Veteran Elite Tribute Squad.   The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Monday at the funeral home.  If desired, contributions may be made to Hospice of Miami County.  Condolences may be left for the family at www.stockerfraley.com.
