Patricia Ann Clark, age 83 of Covington, passed away Saturday, October 1, 2016 at Good Samaritan Hospital, Dayton.  Pat was born in Covington on October 24, 1932 to the (late) LeRoy Diltz & Norma (Miller) Brunton; a graduate of Covington High School, Class of 1952; was owner/operator/hairdresser/entrepreneur of Powder Puff Beauty Salon, Covington for 52 years; was a member of the O.E.S. Covington/West Milton Chapter; a member of the Covington Community Chest; past member of the Covington Village Council; had been active with Covington Parades for many years; was hairdresser for Covington Care Center for 25 years; was hairdresser for Bridges-Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home, Covington for 30 years; a member of the Covington Christian Church for over 50 years serving as the organist for 35 years, past director of the children’s choir for several years, co-creator of the Apple Dumpling Gang; a member of the VFW Post #4235 Ladies Auxiliary, Covington; a member of the American Legion AB Cole Post #80 Ladies Auxiliary; had worked with the Girl Scout Troops; and was a “QVC Queen”. Pat was very proud of her family and felt she had raised great children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.  She taught them valuable work ethics by being accountable and responsible people.  Preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Lewis Hathaway in 1961; second husband, John Paul Lyons in 1984; and third husband, Darrell Clark in 1997; grandchild, Justine Marie Cooper-Woods; brother, Douglas Diltz; and son-in-law, Ron Leistner.  Pat is survived by her four children, Dan & Ruth Hathaway of Piqua, LuAnne Leistner (Tim) of Covington, Rick Lyons (Angie) of Covington, Tracy & Linda Lyons of Covington; 11 grandchildren, Amanda & Nathan Faught of Tulsa, OK, Cheri Hathaway (Greg) of Bellbrook, Adrian & Kate Hathaway of Knoxville, TN, Cody & Katy Hathaway of Tulsa, OK, Charlotte Hall Christensen & Patrick Hayes of Dayton, Keith & Erica Lyons of Baltimore, MD, Ricky Lyons of Piqua, Sarah Houshel of Dayton, Tricia & Tony Altic of Huntersville, NC, Jamie & Josh Simon of Covington, Tiffany Chalmers (Sean) of Troy; 11 great-grandchildren, Nathan Alexander Faught, Hayden Hathaway Faught, Callahan Lewis Hathaway, Everett Nash Hathaway, Cohen Daniel Hathaway, Aspen Chalmers, Connor & Caleb Houshel, Presley Alynn Altic,  Jadyn Lynn Simon, Ava Grace Lyons; two nieces, Kim & Bill Buerk of Pleasant Plain, OH, Deb & Al Hitchcock of Covington; nephew, Kip Diltz of Covington; lifelong friend, Martha Rhoades of Covington; other relatives and friends.  Funeral service 10:30 A.M. Wednesday at Bridges-Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home, Covington with Pastor Scott Bates & Pastor Dan Hathaway officiating.  Interment Highland Cemetery, Covington.  The family will receive friends 5-8 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.  If desired, contributions may be made to the Covington Christian Church.  Condolences may be left for the family at www.stockerfraley.com.
