Richard A. “Rick” Floyd, age 65 of Bradford, passed away Thursday, June 29, 2017 at the Knox Community Hospital, Mt. Vernon, OH.  Rick was born in Greenville on April 13, 1952 to the (late) Ralph David & Beatrice (Derr) Floyd; a graduate of Bradford High School, Class of 1970; worked for Quality Forms, Piqua with 30+ years of service; a member of the Covington Eagles Aerie #3998; member of the Versailles Eagles; a member of the Troy Moose; a member of the AMVETS Post #66, Covington; was an avid golfer, bowler, and card player.  Preceded in death by his parents; sister, Pamela Sue Floyd; three brothers and sister-in-law, Bob Floyd, John Floyd, Dave & Maria Floyd.  Rick is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Scott & Deb Floyd of Bradford; two sisters and brother-in-law, Peg Sargent of Bradford, Jay & Tammy Victor of Covington; nephews, Bobby & wife, Carey Floyd of Covington, Joey Floyd of Cincinnati, Rob & Shawn Gordon of Manhattan, KS; nieces, Ashley & husband, Aaron Szilagyi of Bradford, Brooklyn Floyd & Andy Vogler of Piqua, Ashley & Sara Mullins of Bradford; great- nieces, Krista & Kylee Floyd of Columbus, Sophie Floyd of Troy, Michalla; great-nephews, Brady Szilagyi, Gabriel, Noah and Christian; and close friend, Gary “Slob” Kinnison.  Funeral service 11:00 AM Thursday at Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home, Bradford with Pastor John Shelton officiating.  Visitation 5-8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Miami County.  Condolences may be left for the family at www.stockerfraley.com.
