Ronald R. Hixson, age 59 of Bradford, passed away Monday, August 14, 2017 at his home.  Ron was born in Troy on May 23, 1958 to the (late) Jack & Marguerite (Johnston) Hixson; a graduate of Newton High School; a member of the Covington Eagles Aerie #3998; a member of the VFW Post #4235, Covington; a member of AMVETS Post #66, Covington; and was a very hard-working man.  Preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Jack Hixson and Jerry Hixson.  Ron is survived by his daughter, Jessi Hixson and her fiancé, Andy Cullars of Bradford; granddaughter, Braylyn Reynolds; sister, Bonnie O’Dell of Troy; brother-in-law, Dan O’Dell of Gallipolis, OH; nephew, Jason & Kassia Studebaker and their family, Jovie, Dalton, & Kalena, all of Troy; niece, Lindsay O’Dell & Josh Fessler and their family, Harlow Fessler, all of Troy; aunt, Juanita & Cecil Hager of Piqua; grand dog, Rodeo; and many friends.  There will be a Gathering of Friends 5-11 PM Friday at the Covington Eagles – East Entrance.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Stocker Fraley Funeral Home to help with final expenses.  Condolences may be left for the family at www.stockerfraley.com.
