William "Ed" Edward Stewart, Jr.

William E. “Ed” Stewart, Jr., age 60 of Covington, passed away Saturday, April 13, 2024 at his home.  Ed was born in Arlington, Virginia on August 28, 1963 to William Edward Sr. & Emma L. (Neal) Stewart; a graduate of Troy High School, Class of 1982; previously worked with Piedmont Airlines and US Air; was a member of the Troy & Piqua Fish & Game Clubs; was a NASCAR fan; enjoyed woodworking, fishing, and hunting; loved putting out his vegetable garden; and was a fantastic cook, “never met a better chef!”  Preceded in death by his granddaughter, Remi Jo Stewart and mother-in-law, Diane Lindsay.  Ed is survived by his parents, William E. Sr.  & Emma Stewart of Covington; his loving wife of 39 years, Leona “Leanie” K. (Kesler) Stewart; his three children, Lindsay Stewart & Dylan Kline of Pleasant Hill, William “Eston” Stewart & Crystal Stewart of Bradford, Brandon & Mackenzie Stewart of Covington; five grandchildren, Leanna Bates, Nolan Stewart, Corvin Stewart, Alaina Stewart, & Judson Stewart; sister and brother-in-law, Teresa & Tom Blakley of Union, OH, his fur baby, Piggy; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Gathering of Family and Friends, Friday 4-7 PM at Bridges-Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home, Covington.  Condolences may be left for the family at www.stockerfraley.com.
