Amy L. Lemmon, age 65 of Greenville, formerly of Versailles and Piqua, passed away Monday, June 5, 2017 at Kindred Hospital, Dayton, OH.  Amy was born in Upper Sandusky on July 17, 1951 to Fredrick Kraus and Jean (Gillispie) Kraus Van Horn; a graduate of the Class of 1969 from Upper Sandusky High School.  She was a stay at home mom and part owner of F&W Dist. Co, Lem Tree Inc.  She was an avid bowler and still holds the highest series at Brel-Aire Bowling Lanes, 717.  She took pride in showing horses as a child into her late teens.  Amy was involved in many of her children’s activities including room mom, band chaperone, Past-President of Piqua Football Moms to name a few.  She loved to read and quilt and was a devoted caregiver to her husband of 47 years, Frank Lemmon.  She is preceded in death by her father, Fredrick Kraus, step-father, Glen Van Horn; brother, Richard Kraus; and brother-in-law, Al Myers.  Amy leaves behind her mother, Jean Van Horn of Upper Sandusky; husband, Frank Lemmon; her children, Wendy (Lance) Ray, Bill (Hilke Ahrens) Lemmon and grandchildren, Carley, Shelby, Jacob, Jackson, Blake Lemmon and Taylor and Hunter Ray; siblings, Teri Myers, Mike & Deborah Kraus, George & Martha Kraus, and Joe & Cindy Kraus; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  There will be a private graveside service.  Her children and grandchildren will be throwing a party in her honor on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at the Covington Community Park, West Broadway, at the big shelter from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM.  Everyone is encouraged to come and celebrate Amy’s life.  She always loved life to the fullest and took the risk!  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Covington BUCC Boosters, Baseball/Softball Program, P.O.
