We were deeply saddened to learn that Barbara had passed away. We have many good memories from school, visiting at Newton Alumni Banquets over the years, and later at our class reunions. We had fun catching up with her (and her husband) at our 40th, 45th, and 50th class reunions. Sadly, she was not able to come to our 60th reunion last year. We will miss our classmate. Our sympathies to all her family.

Grandma Nic,
I am truly missing you and your fun spirit. Our conversations on politics and life will be treasured. You always said, "now Bambi is that the right decision"? Your laugh when I would say things catching you off guard. (Not much of a filter) You always said me myself, stay strong and independent. Life will give me what I need when I need it and in Gods time. The memories of spending summers with you, getting in trouble (but not really) and you not telling my mom and dad. All life lessons about choices and life's ability to humble me. Always telling me "it is your decision, you make sure you are ready". You helped bring me independence, strength and the ability to hold a smile as long as possible. Thank you! I will continue to be me and know you encouraged it. I love you Grandma xoxox and know you are watching over me.
