Barbara Pettit Obituary

Barbara Louise Pettit, age 74 of Covington, passed away Thursday, September 20, 2018 at her home.  Barbara was born in Greenville on August 12, 1944 to the (late) Hubert & Elsie (Coppess) Christman; was a graduate of Gettysburg High School, Class of 1962; had previously worked at Piqua Memorial Hospital, Bradford Awards and Highway Inn, Covington; enjoyed fishing and doing her puzzle books; and she loved her grandkids.  Preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Kenneth Pettit and Jamie Pettit; and sister, Norma Brant.  Barbara is survived by her husband of 54 years, Kenneth E. Pettit; two daughters and sons-in-law, Kim & Todd Alexander of Covington, Karen & Rick Sedam of Piqua; four grandchildren, Trent & Crystal Alexander, Joyce & Jason Willis, Daniel & Lauren (Peltier) Kendall, Brittany Kendall; seven great-grandchildren, Trentin & Hannah Alexander, Sadie & Chase Willis, Audrianna Kendall, Grace & Faith Perkins; sister, Carolyn Kendall of Bradford; niece, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Funeral 11:00 AM Tuesday at Bridges-Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home, Covington with Pastor John Shelton officiating.  Interment Miami Memorial Park Cemetery, Covington.  Visitation 5-7 PM Monday at the funeral home and again from 10:00 AM Tuesday until time of service.  If desired, contributions may be made to Ohio Hospice of Dayton.  Condolences may be left for the family at www.stockerfraley.com.
