Daniel Harrison Burgess, age 34 died Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at his home in Covington.  He was born November 8, 1982 in Piqua, OH to Dennis “Denny” & Debbie (Harrison) Burgess; a graduate of Covington High School, Class of 2001, where he played football & was team co-captain his senior year & also played basketball & baseball; attended Upper Valley JVS for 2 years for electrical trades; graduated from Hobart Institute of Welding, Troy in 2005; worked in the welding & construction trades & most recently had been assisting his father with tax prep & accounting; loved playing guitar & writing songs; recorded a CD with his sister, Dianna with all originals.  Daniel loved his friends & family.

Preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Don & Nancy Harrison; & paternal grandparents, Doc & Jane Burgess.

Daniel is survived by his parents, Denny & Debbie Burgess; sister, Dianna Burgess & her fiancé, Trent Hinger, all of Covington; many aunts, uncles, cousins & many others who loved him & will miss him.

Funeral Service will be held Monday at 11:30 a.m. at Fields of Grace Worship Center, 326 E. Troy Pike, Covington (across from old IGA) with Pastor Don Solin officiating.  Interment Miami Memorial Park Cemetery, Covington. The family will receive friends Monday at the church from 10:30 a.m. until time of service.  If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Bucc Boosters Association, Inc. P.O.
