Edward “Ed” Alvin Ball, age 65 of Bradford, passed away Friday, July 27, 2018 at his home. Ed was born in Trout Lake, Michigan on January 29, 1953 to the (late) Alvin & Margurite (Lindemuth) Ball; retired as a Heavy Equipment Operator with Clifton Excavating, New Madison with 20+ years of service; was a member of Local #18 International Union of Operating Engineers; was an avid hunter and fisherman; he also loved gardening and being with his friends. Preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Dennis Ball. Ed is survived by his companion, Evelyn Manning of Bradford; five children, Cindy Ball of Cheboygan, MI, Cora Ball of Sault Ste. Marie, MI, Rebekah & Jeff Hampton of Gettysburg, Tim Ball and Sam Ball, both of Greenville; six grandchildren; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Rodney & Bonnie Ball of Zeeland, MI, Jerry & Laurie Ball of Trout Lake, MI, Jim & Bertha Ball of Wasilla, Alaska, Carl & Marcia Ball of Sault Ste.
