Elizabeth T. Warner, age 92 of Greenville, long time resident of Cleveland, passed away Monday, January 21, 2019 at the Brethren Retirement Community, Greenville. Elizabeth was born in Acosta, PA on April 14, 1926 to the (late) John Henry & Mary (Friskie) Tims; received her Masters Degree from Case Western Reserve University and was a Psychiatric Nursing Professor at Kent State University; a member of Sigma Theta Tau - Nursing Honors; and was a member of the Covington Church of the Brethren. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, John L. Warner in 2015; four sisters, Cecelia Tims, Maryann Gontis, Margaret Luongo, Agnes Zanoni; and brother, John Tims. Elizabeth is survived by her step-son, John Warner of Marengo, OH; sister, Barbara Dain of Columbiana, OH; brother, Richard Tims of Acosta, PA; two sisters-in-law, Eloise Mong of Chillicothe, OH and Nadine Fichter of Deland, FL; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral Service 1:00 PM Thursday, January 31st at the Covington Church of the Brethren with Pastor Mike Yingst officiating. Interment Highland Cemetery, Covington.
