Gary D Welbaum

Gary D. Welbaum, age 66, of Troy, died Saturday, March 10, 2018 at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton.  He was born July 16, 1951 in Piqua to the late H.D. & Clara (Hudelson) Welbaum; a graduate of Bradford High School, Class of 1969; attended Morehead State University; a member of Bradford Church of the Brethren; a teacher for 17 years in Troy & Bradford Public Schools; worked for American Airlines in Boston.

Preceded in death by his parents, grandparents & Max, his favorite canine companion.

Gary is survived by 2 sisters, Susan Welbaum (Skip Strawser) of Troy & Barbara (Jim) Kussman of Troy; aunt, Jane Moler of Troy; niece, Allison (Brett) Stover of Tipp City; & many special friends in Boston, Florida & locally.

Memorial Service to be held Saturday at 12 noon at Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home, Bradford with Pastor John Shelton officiating.  Visitation to be held Saturday from 10 am until time of service.  If desired, contributions may be made to Hospice of Miami County, Bradford Fire & Rescue or the Lymphoma Society.  Condolences may be left for the family at www.stockerfraley.com.
