Harold A. Lear, age 88, of Bradford died Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at the State of the Heart Hospice Inpatient Unit at Wayne Hospital, Greenville. He was born November 21, 1930 in Miami Co to the late Jacob M. & Emma E. Marie (Harrison) Lear; a graduate of Bradford High School, Class of 1950; retired from Campion Foundry where he worked for 52 years; attended Bradford Church of the Brethren; enjoyed woodworking & collecting model cars & tractors.
Preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Wanda (Ganger) Lear in 1985; second wife, Maxine (Lyme) Lear in 2012; brothers, Donnie, David & Dick Lear; sisters, Betty Clay & Alberta “Bertie” Reineke; & step-son, Duane Hoffman.
Harold is survived by his son, Keith (Judy) Lear of Bradford; 2 daughters, Bonnie Lingo & Brenda (Scott) Hinkle, all of Bradford; 4 step sons, Edward (Mia) Hoffman of FL, Richard Yohey of TN, Steven Yohey of Bradford & Dennis Yohey of London; 7 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren & great-great grandchildren; special friends, Connie Meat of Bradford, Terry Byram of Bradford, Tom & Nancy Kessler of Piqua; & other relatives & friends.
Funeral Service will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home, Bradford with Harold’s cousin, Dennis Sargent officiating. Interment Harris Creek Cemetery, Bradford.
