Margaret Ann Amburgey, age 71, of Bradford, died Sunday, December 24, 2017 at the Hospice of Miami County Unit at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy.  She was born August 24, 1946 in Knoxville, TN to the late Leonard & Ruth (Hudson) O’Shell; a graduate of Tippecanoe High School, Class of 1964; part owner of the former Country & Lace Store in Covington; a member of the Bradford Church of the Brethren, where she was very involved in the Women’s Bible Study; helped spearhead & was an active member of the Bradford Garden Club; her love of flowers & gardening earned her the nickname of “The Flower Lady”.

Margaret is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, David Amburgey; son, Lance (Laurie) Amburgey of Greensburg, IN; 3 daughters, Jeanette (John) Marshall of Bradford, Danielle (Clifford) Smith of Piqua, & Dana Robertson of Vandalia; 14 grandchildren, Ansley, Ethan, Sarah & Gavin Amburgey, Josh (Erin), J.D. & Jordan Marshall, Alexandria (Dustin) Feight, Victoria, Olivia & Colin Smith, Hailey (Victor) LaPeer, Nicodemus & Isabel Robertson; 8 great grandchildren, Emma, Ethan, Katherine, Evelyn, Xander, Ezekiel, Eleanor & Jonah; brother, Larry O’Shell of San Diego, CA; sister, Lois (Robert) Collins of Vandalia; other relatives & many friends.

Funeral Service will be held Saturday at 10am at the Bradford Church of the Brethren with Pastor John Shelton officiating.  Interment Harris Creek Cemetery.  Visitation to be held Friday 5-8pm at Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home, Bradford.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in Margaret’s name to Miami County Hospice, PO Box 502, Troy, OH 45373.  Condolences may be left for the family at www.stockerfraley.com.
