May 23, 1940 ~ November 28, 2017 (age 77) 77 Years OldSharon Lee Stambaugh, age 77 of Troy, went to be with the Lord Jesus Christ in such a graceful way with her family surrounding her on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at her home. Sharon was born in Piqua on May 23, 1940 to the (late) William Calland & Marion (McMaken) Thompson; a graduate of Piqua Central High School, Class of 1958; was a member of the Fields of Grace Worship Center, Covington; had been on a bowling team; and loved to cook, decorate, read, go out to eat and loved her family and friends. Preceded in death by her parents; husband of 43 years, Timothy L. Stambaugh on August 12, 2017 and great-granddaughter, Sarah Null. Sharon is survived by her five daughters, Kelly & Tony Canfarelli of Pleasant Hill, Jody & Rick Cordonnier of Piqua, Heather Hartman Hall of Troy, Tisha Stambaugh of Troy, & Jean Ann Stambaugh of Tipp City; 11 grandchildren, Gunnery Sgt. Douglas & Brandee Null of Okinawa, Japan, Aaron & Danielle Null, Trent Chalmers, Kyle Chalmers, Tony Canfarelli, Del Canfarelli, Nick & Ashlee Canfarelli, Kristin Allison, Mallory & Eric Boothe, Logan Hall, & Aydin Smith; nine great-grandchildren, Landen, Hadley, Gabby, Harper, Aspen, Sam, Tony, Isaiah, & Joanna Grace “Peanut”; sister and brother-in-law, Janine & Ralph Davis of Troy, Mark “Butch” & Kathy Thompson of Piqua; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral service 11:00 AM Saturday at the Fields of Grace Worship Center, 326 E. Troy Pike, Covington with Pastor Don Solin officiating. Interment Forest Hill Cemetery, Piqua.
