Timothy L. “Tim” Stambaugh, age 66 of Troy, passed away Saturday, August 12, 2017 at his home.  Tim was born in Covington on June 29, 1951 to the (late) Harold & Evelyn (Shisler) Stambaugh; was a graduate of Covington High School, Class of 1970; owner of Home Remodelers; was a member of Fields of Grace, Covington where he was very involved; donated every year to Dayton Children’s Hospital in honor of his grandson, Aydin and also to the Boy Scouts; an avid fan of Covington Football, The Ohio State University Football, NASCAR, and the Cleveland Browns; coached youth leagues softball; showed horses; loved fairs; loved to fish; and dearly loved his wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.  Preceded in death by his parents and great-granddaughter, Sarah Null.  Tim is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Sharon Lee (Calland) Stambaugh; five daughters, Kelly & husband, Tony Canfarelli of Pleasant Hill, Jody & husband, Rick Cordonnier of Piqua, Heather Hartman Hall of Troy, Tisha Stambaugh of Troy, and Jean Ann Stambaugh of Tipp City; 11 grandchildren, Gunnery Sgt. Douglas & Brandee Null, Aaron & Danielle Null, Trent Chalmers, Kyle Chalmers, Tony Canfarelli, Del Canfarelli, Nick Canfarelli and fiancée, Ashlee Fuller, Kristin Allison, Mallory & Eric Boothe, Logan Hall, Aydin Smith; nine great-grandchildren, Landen, Hadley, Gabby, Harper, Aspen, Sam, Tony, Isaiah, Joanna Grace “Peanut”; three siblings, Kenneth & Cathy Stambaugh of Clinton, NC, Cheryl & Ron Trissel of Piqua, Harold Stambaugh of Piqua; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Mark & Kathy Thompson of Piqua,  Janine & Ralph Davis of Troy; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Memorial service 7:00 P.M. Thursday at Fields of Grace, Covington with Pastor Don Solin officiating.  Visitation 5:00 P.M. Thursday until time of service at the church.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home, to help with final expenses.  Condolences may be left for the family at www.stockerfraley.com.
