Tyler James Baumgardner, age 23, of Union City, died Tuesday, January 31, 2017 as the result of a car accident.  Tyler was born July 20, 1993, Troy, OH to Terry Baumgardner & Trisha (Elifritz) Carter; was active in Boy Scouts as a child; attended Brookville High School & Montgomery County CTC.

Preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Delmar Elifritz; & uncle, Josh Baumgardner.

Tyler is survived by his parents, Terry Baumgardner & Trisha (Jason) Carter; grandparents, Kathy Elifritz of Tipp City, Rex & Sherri Baumgardner of Union City; aunts & uncles, Shonda (Ray) Swartout of Greenville, Scott (Sue) Elifritz of Greenville, Randy (Karen) Elifritz of Bradford, Christopher (Marilynn) Elifritz of Clinton, MD, Kelly Mayberry of Troy & David (Lorna) Elifritz of Bradford; many cousins, other relatives & friends.

Funeral Service will be held Wednesday at 1 pm at Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home, Bradford with Brother Scott Wilson officiating.  Interment Newcomers Cemetery, Arcanum.  The family will receive friends Tuesday 4-8 pm at the funeral home.  If desired, donations may be made to Hope (make checks payable to HOH, PO Box 565, Wadsworth, OH 44282).  Condolences may be left for the family at www.stockerfraley.com.
