Betty J. Peiffer

Betty J. Peiffer, age 88 and a lifelong resident of Bradford, passed away Friday, May 1, 2026 at her home.  Betty was born in Bradford on April 22, 1938 to the (late) Russell & Mary (Brown) Grow; worked for many years at Bradford Schools; a farm wife for many years and her husband, Bill taught her how to drive a tractor and big trucks.  She enjoyed traveling and country drives; raising chickens and collected chicken memorabilia; and watching old TV shows.  Preceded in death by her parents; husband of 51 years, Bill Peiffer in 2013; and her seven siblings, Glenna Stonerock, Ruby Grow, Wilma Grow, Dorothy Bolinger, Russell Grow, Marlene Hockett and Joan Nixon.  Betty is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Lisa & Larry Bill of Bradford, son and daughter-in-law, Larry & Mellissa Powers of Delaware, OH; grandson, Ryan and wife, Amanda Peiffer of Versailles; great-granddaughters, Logan and Seanna Peiffer; sister and brother-in-law, Norma & Ken Bernard of Greenville; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Private Service at the convenience of the family.  Contributions may be made to Ohio Hospice of Miami County.  Condolences may be shared with the family at www.stockerfraley.com.
