Beverly Ann (Bashore) Long

Beverly Ann Long, age 79 of Versailles, passed away Sunday, February 22, 2026 at her home.  Beverly was born in Bradford on October 19, 1947 to the (late) Harold & E. Naomi (Inman) Bashore; was a graduate of Bradford High School, Class of 1965; received her Associate Degree in Nursing from Edison State Community College.  Beverly worked as Director of Nursing at Heartland Nursing Home.  She was a member of the VFW Post #4235, Covington; loved watching the Olympics, especially ice skating and she enjoyed doing word search puzzles.  Beverly was an avid Cleveland Brown’s fan and loved watching the Westminster Dog Shows.  Preceded in death by her parents; husband of 45 years, Wilbur A. Long in 2011; and brother, Truman Bashore on January 7, 2026.  Beverly is survived by her three children, Webb Long of CA,  Tracy & April Long of Troy, Malinda & Robert Gorrell of Arcanum; seven grandchildren, Bryson Long, Collan Long, Gabriel Long, Joseph Long, Mackenzie Gorrell, Dakota Alan Long, and Logan Gorrell; two great-grandchildren, Serenity and Laviah; and her cat companion, Mr. Yang.  There will be no public services.  Condolences may be shared with the family at www.stockerfraley.com.
