Brett Joseph Brumbaugh, age 51 of Bradford, passed away Friday, July 10, 2026 at Ohio Hospice of Miami County, Troy. Brett was born in Piqua on December 12, 1974 to Carl Herbert “Herb” Brumbaugh & Deborah Cole; was a graduate of Piqua High School/JVS, Class of 1994; had previously worked as a Semi-Truck Driver for PRT Recycling in Piqua and a member of Common Ground Christian Church, Bradford. While in high school, Brett played football and bowled on a league. Brett was an avid fan of The Ohio State University Football Team and Buffalo Bills; he was a member of the NRA; enjoyed fishing and he enjoyed racing, watching, and working on race cars and other cars. Brett was a jokester but had a big heart and was willing to help anyone out. Preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Seth Cole & Sue Ann Cole Jones; and his paternal grandparents, Karl & Luella Brumbaugh. Brett is survived by his parents, Herb Brumbaugh of Covington and Deborah Cole of Bradford; son, Joseph “Joe” Brumbaugh of Bradford; significant other, Debra Fair of Bradford and her son, William “Will” Bashore of Springfield; other relatives and friends. Celebration of Life Service at Stocker=Fraley Funeral Home, Bradford on Thursday, July 23rd 7:00 PM with Pastor Dan Scalf officiating.
