Brian Gene Blumenstock

Brian Gene Blumenstock, age 57 of Covington, passed away Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at the Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy.  Brian was born in Greenville on September 16, 1964 to the (late) Ron Blumenstock & Mary (Kiehl) Blumenstock Oler; a graduate of Arcanum High School, Class of 1982 and received his Associate Degree from Northwestern Technical School; worked for 12 years at ConAgra, Troy; a member of the Darke County Grange; enjoyed fishing, bowling, golfing, hiking, and baseball games, especially the Dayton Dragons; was very active with his kids Boy Scout Troop #343, Covington; loved going to car shows and to his kids sporting events.  Brian is survived by his wife, Julie E. Blumenstock of Covington; three sons, Scott Blumenstock, Thomas Blumenstock, and Jack Blumenstock, all of Covington; brother and sister-in-law, Chris & Dianna Blumenstock of Elizabethton, TN; two nephews, Alex & Miwa Blumenstock of Japan, Eric Blumenstock of Elizabethton, TN; aunt, Linda Blumenstock of Troy; step-brother, David & Melissa Oler of MN; step-sister, Sheila & Ron Starnes of FL; mother-in-law, Mary & Doug Spence of Matthews, IN; two brothers-in-law, Mark & Lisa Atkinson of Upland, IN, Paul & Kristy Atkinson of Harrison, OH; other relatives and friends.  Funeral Service 7:00 P.M. Monday at Bridges-Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home, Covington with Pastor Nick Church officiating.  Visitation 5:00 PM Monday until time of service at the funeral home.  If desired, contributions may be made to Boy Scout Troup #343, Covington.  Condolences may be left for the family at www.stockerfraley.com.
