Carol Kissinger

Carol Kissinger, age 81 of Greenville, passed away Monday, March 24, 2025 at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton.  Carol was born in Piqua on December 25, 1943 to the (late) Gerald Emerson & Dorothy Veronica (Samson) Reeder; had previously worked for Atlas, Piqua for five years; an avid reader, enjoyed working word puzzles, playing cards, and lottery tickets; loved Marion’s Pizza, Golden Coral, and Texas Roadhouse; and loved southern gospel music, especially the Gaither’s.  Preceded in death by her parents; husband of 56 years, Gene M. Kissinger in 2021; and son, Terry Kissinger in 2022.  Carol is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Melissa & Andy Spillman of Greenville; three grandchildren, Vincent Kissinger and fiancée, Laura Chapman, Ashley & Steven Duckett and Dakota Kissinger; two great-grandchildren, Emma Duckett and James Duckett; sister and brother-in-law, Helen & Stanley Ganger of Troy; brother and sister-in-law, Jeffery & Peggy Reeder of Sidney; sister-in-law, Faye Reeder of Florida; her kitty cat, Mertin; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Funeral Service 1:00 PM Friday at Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home, Bradford with Pastor John Shelton officiating.  Interment Miami Memorial Park Cemetery, Covington.  Visitation 12 Noon until time of service.  Condolences may be left for the family at www.stockerfraley.com.
