Cathy Marie Rhoades

Cathy Marie Rhoades, age 78 of Piqua, passed away on Monday, May 25, 2026 at the Versailles Rehab and Healthcare Center.  Cathy was born on September 16, 1947 to the (late) Richard & Rita Mae (Gray) Cain; a graduate of Tipp City High School, Class of 1965, where she was the Head Majorette; retired with 34 years of service with ITW/Hobart Mfg.; spent many years with the Covington Fire Department Spitfyres; enjoyed fishing and going to Lake Erie; but mostly loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Preceded in death by her parents and son, Daniel Richard Kihm.  Cathy is survived by her husband of 43 years, Dennis Jay Rhoades; two children, Doug Kihm of Piqua and Maria & James Hicks of Bradford; six grandchildren, Josh & Sara Boehringer, Macy Boehringer & Bryant Dixon, Jayden Hicks, Marissa Hicks, Shelby & Ashley Tiffany-Kihm, Stassi Kihm; six great-grandchildren, Reyce Dixon, Ryleigh Dixon, Raven Dixon, Grace Boehringer, Connor Boehringer, Savannah Boehringer and one on the way; “little Sister”, Lisa Kerrick; best friend, Karen Jo Whitehair; other relatives and friends.  Visitation 11-1:00 PM Friday at Bridges-Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home followed by a procession to Highland Cemetery, Covington for a Graveside Service.  If desired, contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.  Condolences may be shared with the family at www.stockerfraley.com.
