Charles "Charlie" M. Cain

Charles “Charlie” M. Cain, age 79 of Piqua, passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2023 at Versailles Healthcare Center.  Charlie was born in Piqua on October 30, 1944 to the (late) Floyd & Theresa (O’Brien) Cain; retired from Hartzell Propellers, Piqua; was an avid NASCAR fan and also The Ohio State University and Pittsburg Steelers; enjoyed going to watch the Dayton Dragons; and loved watching old western shows.  Preceded in death by his parents; wife, Carolyn Cain in 2020; grandson; sisters, Treva Fiste and her infant twin, Reva Cain; brother, Ricky Cain; and special friend, Kathleen Lawson.  Charlie is survived by his children, Mark & Deb Bianchi of IN, Chris & Carmen Metz of Sidney, Lynda Lane & Steve Raines of Cridersville, OH, Ryan Faulkner of CO, Randy & Tonya Arnett of New London, OH; 13 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; his siblings, Robert & Joan Cain of Covington, Barbara Jane Long of Greenville, Joanne Taxis of Piqua, Jack & Karen Cain of Bradford, Floyd Jr. & Vicki Cain of Laura, and Cheryl Moore of Laura; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Graveside Service at 11:00 AM Thursday, January 4th at Forest Hill Cemetery, Piqua.  A procession will begin at Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home, Bradford at 10:15 AM Thursday.  Visitation 5-8 PM Wednesday at Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home, Bradford.
