Cindy Lovis Duncan

Cindy Lovis Duncan, age 66, of Piqua, passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2026 at Ohio Hospice of Miami County, Troy.  Cindy was born in Amherst, Ohio on December 31, 1959 to Shirley Rogers.  Cindy graduated from Marion Steele High School and attended Edison State College.  She worked as a Nurse Assistant at Upper Valley Medical Center for 13 years and recently worked at McDonalds, Covington Avenue, Piqua, where people enjoyed her smile!  Cindy loved plants and her pitbull dog, Bondo; cheered for the Dallas Cowboys; but mostly, she loved her granddaughters.  Preceded in death by her mother and husband, Michael Smith in 2015.  Cindy is survived by her three children, Joshua Varady (Stephanie) of Fletcher, Danielle Smith Hughes of Piqua, and Michael Smith of Dayton; four granddaughters, Mackenzie & Nathaniel Hurst, Emily Varady, Taylor Arnett, and Haylee Smith; great-grandchildren, Alexander and Ezekiel Hurst; brother, Bill Rogers of Wellington, Ohio; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  No public services.  Condolences may be shared with the family at www.stockerfraley.com.
