David Baxter Harmon

David Baxter Harmon, age 59 of Piqua, passed away Saturday, December 9, 2023 at the Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy.  David was born in Troy on July 25, 1964 to Donald Richard “Dick” Harmon and Brenda (Thompson) Hardin; a U.S. Army Veteran; received his Associate Degree in Business; was a Sales Associate for Dunham Sports, Piqua; had previously worked at Freightliner in Cleveland, NC; a past member of the AMVETS Post #66, Covington; enjoyed building model boats; and loved watching anything on the History or Discovery Channels.  Preceded in death by his father, Dick Harmon.  David is survived by his mother, Brenda of Salisbury, NC; wife of 33 years, Bonnie (Bubeck) Harmon; children, Mercedes & husband, Mike Kruse of South Port, NC, Dannion Harmon of Dayton, Kelsey Harmon of Rocky Point, NC, and Shawn Harmon of Piqua; four grandchildren, Zane Ford, Abel Geathers, Kanan Geathers and Aurora Harmon; three siblings and their spouses, Rick & Gloria Harmon of Bloomer, Kelly Christine “Chris” Smith of Salisbury, NC, and Robert “Rusty” & Angie Harmon of Savannah, GA; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  David’s cremains will be buried at the Salisbury National Cemetery, 501 Statesville Blvd., Salisbury, NC on March 29th at 11:00 AM.  Condolences may be left for the family at www.stockerfraley.com.
