David Michael Phillips, age 38 of Vandalia, passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2026. David was born in Greenville on May 22, 1987 to Michael Franklin Phillips and Christa Kay (Lear) Crick; was a graduate of Bradford High School, Upper Valley JVS, Class of 2006; worked as a Sub-Contractor for E. Ream Construction, Vandalia. He enjoyed going to Gatlinburg and going to the casino. David was an avid fisherman, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his daughter, nieces, and nephews. Preceded in death by his grandparents, Dick Lear, Roberta Shively and Dexter Phillips; step-father, Joe Crick; and niece, Millie Phillips David is survived by his mother, Christa Crick of Bradford and father, Michael Phillips of Gettysburg; grandma, Velma Lear of Greenville; daughter, Adelyn Phillips of Huber Heights; brother, Cory Phillips of Bradford and Brooke Phillips; two sisters and their families, Tiffany & Jack Miller of Bradford and their children, Devin Miller, Kaya Miller, and Gage Miller, Melissa Phillips of Bradford and son, Axle Phillips; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Celebration of Life Saturday, March 14th 10:00 AM until 12 Noon at Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home, Bradford. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the funeral home for David’s final expenses.
