Deborah “Debbie” Kay Epperson, age 65 of Troy, formerly lived in Suffolk, Virginia, passed away Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at the Ohio Hospice of Miami County Inpatient Unit. Debbie was born in Dayton on February 19, 1956 to the (late) Donald Walter & Mary Evelyn (Bentzel) Shoup; a graduate of Tipp City High School, Class of 1974; a teacher’s aid with the Miami County Educational Service Center; enjoyed going to garage sales and consignment shops; an avid fan of the Denver Broncos; loved to travel with John; and loved to watch her grandchildren play sports. Debbie is survived by her children, Derrick & Moniqua Skinner of Bradford, Brandi Epperson of Troy; loving life partner, John Bruner of Troy; four grandchildren, Dalten Skinner, Brensen Skinner, Olivia Harris, & Malachi Harris; brother and sister-in-law, David & Mary Alice Shoup of Bradford; two sisters, Linda Chaney of Tipp City & Martha Osornio of Troy; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral Service 12 Noon Friday at Common Ground Christian Church, Bradford with Pastor John Shelton officiating. Interment Miami Memorial Park Cemetery, Covington.
