Donald E. Huelskamp, age 91 of Covington, passed away Saturday, March 28, 2026 at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton. Don was born in Bradford on August 21, 1934 to the late Clarence & Josephine Didier Huelskamp; was a graduate of Bradford High School, Class of 1952; was a dairy farmer all of his life; a member of Immaculate Conception Church, Bradford; enjoyed going to the casino and watching the Cincinnati Reds and the University of Dayton Flyers. Preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Karolyn Kay Hemmerich Huelskamp of 52 years in 2005; brother, Daryl Huelskamp; brother-in-law, Dick Patty; and best friend, Jack Byram. Don is survived by his wife, Geri Miller Huelskamp of almost 20 years; his four children, Rick Huelskamp of Covington, Lou Ann & Bob Moffitt of Troy, Doug Huelskamp & Gail McGarvey of Covington, and Kim & Darrel Blanton of Bradford; two step-daughters, Janet & Lynn Blose of Cortland, OH and Jackie Miller-Dunn of Hilliard, OH; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two sisters and brother-in-law, Martha & John Higgins of Tipp City and Yvonne Patty of Bradford; sister-in-law, Helen Huelskamp of Bradford; dear friend, Rita Byram of Bradford; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Private Services at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Tunnels to Towers or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
