Elizabeth Ann Bayman, age 64, of Columbus, formerly of Covington, died Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at Select Specialty Hospital Victorian Village, Columbus. She was born in Piqua on February 18, 1957 to the late Lewis & Billie (Hill) Wills; a graduate of Covington High School, Class of 1975; worked as a nurse for many years at Wilson & other local hospitals; a member of Covington Church of the Brethren, her spiritual life continued to be important to her, even when she was unable to attend services; a fan of The Ohio State University Buckeyes; but most of all, she loved her girls, her grandkids & the rest of her family.
Elizabeth is survived by 2 daughters, Marybeth (Douglas) Byers of TN & Laurakate Bayman of Columbus; 3 grandchildren, Kiera, Kalli & Lewis Byers; 5 siblings, Butch (Marcia) Wills of Covington, David Wills of Dayton, Cathy (Jim) Hoover of Troy, Tom (Debi) Wills of Orlando, FL, & Melissa (Scott) Gray of Croton; her “fur grandbabies”, Indi & Joey; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives & many friends.
Funeral Service will be held Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at Bridges-Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home, Covington with Pastor Dan Poole officiating. Interment Highland Cemetery. Visitation to be held Friday, 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Construction is blocking portions of Route 48/High St in Covington, but the funeral home parking lot can be accessed off 48 from Route 36/Broadway or from an alley off Pearl St. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Covington Church of the Brethren.
