Emmalene Hutton, age 88 of Piqua, passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at Garbry Ridge, Piqua. She was born in Burnside, KY on January 13, 1938 to the (late) John & Mary Elva (South) McMullen; worked with Kathy in a small business cleaning service; worked in factories, where she wired control panels for airplanes for the military; was an avid reader; enjoyed doing crossword puzzles; and she loved to sew and make quilts. Preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 67 years, Paris Edward Hutton in 2023; infant brother, Donald Ray McMullen; three additional brothers, Leo McMullen, Paul McMullen, and Jim McMullen; and two sisters, Dolly Murphy and Josephine Branscum. Emmalene is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law, Randy & Debra Hutton of Piqua and Donald & Sheryl “Chris” Hutton of Chillicothe, OH; four grandchildren, Angie & Brian LaMee, Brandy & Divish Ranjan, Corey Hutton, Matthew Hutton & Haley Fortuna; three great-grandchildren, Cyrus and Mira Ranjan and Katie LaMee; brother, Bill McMullen of Detroit, MI; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation 12-1:00 PM Friday at Bridges-Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home, Covington. Procession will then go to Miami Memorial Park Cemetery, Covington where there will be a Graveside Service.
