Emmalene Hutton

Emmalene Hutton, age 88 of Piqua, passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at Garbry Ridge, Piqua.  She was born in Burnside, KY on January 13, 1938 to the (late) John & Mary Elva (South) McMullen; worked with Kathy in a small business cleaning service; worked in factories, where she wired control panels for airplanes for the military; was an avid reader; enjoyed doing crossword puzzles; and she loved to sew and make quilts. Preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 67 years, Paris Edward Hutton in 2023; infant brother, Donald Ray McMullen; three additional brothers, Leo McMullen, Paul McMullen, and Jim McMullen; and two sisters, Dolly Murphy and Josephine Branscum.  Emmalene is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law, Randy & Debra Hutton of Piqua and Donald & Sheryl “Chris” Hutton of Chillicothe, OH; four grandchildren, Angie & Brian LaMee, Brandy & Divish Ranjan, Corey Hutton, Matthew Hutton & Haley Fortuna; three great-grandchildren, Cyrus and Mira Ranjan and Katie LaMee; brother, Bill McMullen of Detroit, MI; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Visitation 12-1:00 PM Friday at Bridges-Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home, Covington.  Procession will then go to Miami Memorial Park Cemetery, Covington where there will be a Graveside Service.  Please dress in casual attire.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.  Condolences may be shared with the family at www.stockerfraley.com.
