Ernest "Jake" L. Wamsley

Ernest “Jake” L. Wamsley, age 83 of Piqua, passed away Thursday, December 5, 2024 at Piqua Manor Nursing Home.  Jake was born in West Virginia; retired from Easy Lawn as a Lawn Sprayer; an avid fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes; enjoyed squirrel hunting and shooting his guns.  Preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 47 years, Nevil Fay Wamsley in 2018; and son, Rodney Howard.  Jake is survived by his children, Fred Howard of Merritt Island, FL and Crystal Howard of Piqua; four grandchildren, Keesha Howard, Jeremy & Katherine Howard, Charity & Bryan Klingler, and Fredrick Howard; great-granddaughter, Macy Klingler; and friends.  Graveside Service 10:15 AM Tuesday at Highland Cemetery, Covington.  Condolences may be left for the family at www.stockerfraley.com.
