Evelyn May Manning

Evelyn May Manning, age 65 of Bradford, passed away Sunday, March 8, 2026 at her sister’s home.  Evelyn was born in Piqua on December 16, 1960 to the (late) Herbert A. & Ginette (Cornett) Manning; had worked for Faurecia in Troy and previously at Marwell in Ft. Loramie.  Evelyn had a green thumb and loved her house plants.  In her younger years, she loved to can and claimed a garden for herself until she couldn’t do it anymore.  Evelyn loved cooking and took pride in it.  Preceded in death by her parents; brother, Jack Manning; brother-in-law, Garth “Buddy” Jones; ex-husband, William Homer Swobb; and her dogs, Rocky and Roxie.  Evelyn is survived by her siblings, Earl & Arlene Manning of Bradford, Fay & Daryl Peeples of Bradford, Gary & Cathy Manning of Gettysburg, and Diane Jones of Bradford; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.  Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, April 25th at Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home, Bradford with Pastor Dane Driver officiating.
