Everett L. Acord, age 90 of Bethel Township, Tipp City, passed away Saturday, November 9, 2024 at Kettering Grandview Hospital, Dayton. Everett was born in Miamisburg on October 3, 1934 to the (late) Everett L. Sr. & Edna M. (Pester) Acord; a graduate of Miamisburg High School, Class of 1952; a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Tipp City; was a former truck driver and mechanic; past 4-H Advisor for many years; past Chief and member of Bethel Township/Miami County Fire Department for 18 years; enjoyed riding horses and taking care of his vegetable garden and also tending to Granny’s rose garden. Preceded in death by his parents; wife Vivian L. Acord in 2021; daughter, June Duncan Endicott; four sisters, Loretta Stewart, Marilyn Browder, Theresa Stebelton, and Edna Mae Cable; and brother, Francis Acord. Everett is survived by his two children, Cynthia J. Robertson of Michigan and Jeffrey D. & wife, Michelle McDonald of Farmersville, OH; grandchildren, Vicki & Doug Albaugh of Laura, Amy & Scott Taylor of Casstown, David & Laura Robertson of NC, Devin & William Baxter of MI, Brandon McDonald and fiancé, Brittany Kendall of Greenville, Kali & Michael Rosenbeck of Tipp City; great-grandchildren, Jacob & Katie Albaugh, Jessica & Keegan Artz, Mallorie & Colton Bowling, Olivia Johnson, Brittany & Jacob Smallenbarger, Alistair, Boaz, Ballet, Ansel, & Ena Robertson, Skye Baxter, Kylie McDonald, Bronson & Gunner Rosenbeck; great-great-grandchildren, Graham & Hudson Albaugh, Henry and Alaina Smallenbarger, Boone Artz, and Lincoln & Nolan Bowling; sister, Julianne Allis of Waynesville; two brothers and sisters-in-law, David E. & Ramona Acord of Dayton, Paul R. & Gloria Acord of New Viena, OH; special friends and neighbors, Teresa & Gary Hoke; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 AM Saturday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 753 South Hyatt Street, Tipp City with Father Robert Hale celebrating. Interment Miami Memorial Park Cemetery, Covington. Visitation 5-8 PM Friday at Bridges-Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home, Covington.
