Frederick Creed Brush

Frederick Creed Brush, age 80 of Bradford, passed away Saturday, July 8, 2023 at his home.  Frederick was born in Troy on May 13, 1943 to the (late) Richard & Norma Mae (Waters) Brush; a U.S. Army Veteran; retired from Greif Brothers with 20+ years of service; attended Liberty Baptist Church, Phillipsburg; loved God and always took his family to church; was a “man of many talents” including playing the harmonica, singing, whistling, drawing, made many things as a woodworker; loved being with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren – “family was everything!”  Preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Carolyn Sherwood and Jeannie Roof.  Frederick is survived by his wife of 59 years, Eva Joyce (Stanley)Brush; his six children, Angel Brush of Eaton, IN, Frederick Daniel & Mary Brush of Piqua, Dawn & Kraig Yount of Ansonia, David & Debbie Brush of Bradford, Kent & Brandy Brush of Greenville, and Summer & Bob Maxwell of Bradford; 33 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Gary & Wanda Brush of Dayton; brother-in-law, Harold Roof of Dayton; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Graveside Service and Interment 12 Noon Friday at Harris Creek Cemetery, Bradford with Pastor Ty Blake officiating, Military Honors by the Veterans Elite Tribute Squad.  Flowers may be delivered to Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home, Bradford.  A dinner celebration to follow the Graveside Service at the Bradford Community Club.
