Glenna Mae Jones

Glenna Mae Jones, age 90 of Bradford, passed away Monday, June 16, 2025 at Kettering Medical Center, Kettering.  Glenna was born in Bradford on December 5, 1934 to the (late) J.W. & Lorean (Oblinger) Reck; helped Jim, her husband, with all his stores and projects; worked as a Nurse’s Aide at Piqua Manor; a member of Bradford Church of the Brethren; enjoyed knitting; a fan of the Cleveland Browns only because she married into it; loved quarter auctions; and mostly, loved her family.  Preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 57 years, James “Jim” Jones II in 2012; two sons, Carth Jones and Garth “Buddy” Jones; and three brothers, Bob Reck, Leeroy Reck, and Marvin Reck.  Glenna is survived by her five children, Nicki & Dan Huff of Bradford, Jim & Lisa Jones of Troy, Curt Jones of Bradford, John & Kay Jones of Bradford, and Wanda & Jay Roberts of Bradford; 2 daughters-in-law, Theresa Jones of Bradford & Diane Jones of Bradford; 29 grandchildren; 71 great-grandchildren; 21 great-great-grandchildren and one on the way; sister, Pam Yingst of Hope, Arkansas; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Funeral Service 10:30 AM Saturday at the Bradford Church of the Brethren with Pastor John Shelton officiating.  Interment Brock Cemetery, Greenville.  Visitation 5-8 PM Friday at Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home, Bradford.  If desired, contributions may be made to the Bradford Fire & Rescue.  Condolences may be left for the family at www.stockerfraley.com.
