Henry Wayne Brumbaugh, age 70 of Covington, passed away Saturday, June 18, 2022 at Ohio Hospice of Miami County. Henry was born in Troy on September 4, 1951 to the (late) Marion W. & Rita (Minton) Brumbaugh, was a graduate of Covington High School, Class of 1970; attended Miami University for two years; attended Dayton Art Institute for one year; and worked at various places, including Hobart, Troy, BF Goodrich, Troy, Walmart, Sidney, Perfecto, Piqua; enjoyed flower gardens and loved nature; was an awesome fisherman; was very artistic and musical and played guitar at coffee shops around Miami University; loved his cat, Muffy; and truly Henry and his mother, Rita were best friends. Preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Nancy Brumbaugh. Henry is survived by his two siblings and their spouses, Ted & Rhonda Brumbaugh of Covington and Sharon & Steve Root of Covington; niece and nephews, Emily Brumbaugh Zimmerman, Kyle & Nicole Brumbaugh, Matt & Shelley Root, Doug & Robin Root; great-nieces and nephews, Olivia, Emma & Ava Brumbaugh, Jack & Bennett Zimmerman, Alex & Parker Root, Sidney, Karlee & Zachary Root; great-great-niece, Rylee; other relatives and friends. Funeral Service 11:00 AM Wednesday at Bridges-Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home, Covington with Pastor Mike Yingst officiating. Interment Harris Creek Cemetery, Bradford. Visitation 10:00 AM Wednesday until time of service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Covington Church of the Brethren or Ohio Hospice of Miami County.
